WILD MUSE SONG CIRCLE is a nature-based singing and expressive arts class for women, to awaken your voice, creativity and inspiration.
Over 2 sessions, we will rekindle enchantment and wonder by singing together at a local forested labyrinth.
In WILD MUSE, you will:
Sing earthy, uplifting songs that honour nature and remind us of our interconnectedness.
Free your voice with embodied vocal warmups, circle-singing and playful improvisations.
Deepen your relationship with the land through expressive arts such as movement, simple drawing, instrument play and collaborative poetry.
Explore Celtic-rooted practices to attune to the “Oran Mor,” The Great Song of Life, and offer your unique voice.
WILD MUSE is ideal for you if you want to:
liberate your voice (no experience required!)
bring more creativity, self-expression, imagination and playfulness into your life
learn eco-spiritual and eco-feminist songs to sing and share
discover vocal improv forms that anyone can do
generate inspiration and ideas for your own projects
gain experience and confidence communing creatively with nature
connect with Northern European roots (not required)
nourish your soul in sisterhood community

Fee $100 CAD
- Sliding scale available if needed (space permitting).OPTIONAL: Add on 2 - 4 summer private lessons for $200- 400
All women welcome (by birth or otherwise) and no experience is required. Invite your friends!
August 27 will be a MoonDrum Song Circle to celebrate the Full Moon with singing and drumming. The fee for this is $25-50 and you can register at the same time.
TO REGISTER:
1) Email me ASAP at hrmccurdy@telus.net to claim your spot and receive the address (in South Surrey, BC).
2) Send $100 payment via Etransfer to coachhmc@telus.net, or arrange to bring cash or cheque.
($600 if you are including private lessons.)
3) If you must withdraw, please provide at least 48 hours notice. No refund after classes start (credit may be provided in cases of missing most of the course due to illness, family emergency, travel, etc.).
